A Strange trip to Alameda

Here we go again!! Took the Cab out at 4am. Came accross a few hands here and there. And then, Bingo !! Had a customer get in at 6th and Market sts. (Not the best area). Pouring down rain. Had my slicker over the passenger seat. The guy wants to go to Alameda. So I asked for 60.00 up front. Policy of most experienced cab drivers. Don't cross any bridges with out getting approx. fair up front. And to make matters suspect, he really wasn't sure where in Alameda. should have known...but I did have his money upfront. By the way, he had a fist-full of money.
So we took off. he asked what was under my slicker? And he kept looking behind in the rear window. Drug (crack) paroina !! You guessed it. Another person on his "High" from crack. I kept telling him to relax and listen to the Classical music. He kept asking if someone was in the trunk. Then asking if someone was under my slicker. Now, I'm on the Bay Bridge. And he keeps it up looking and feeeling the slicker. Looking for the police out the rear window. I told to "cool it". And if he didn't, I would pull over for him to get out!! He did for a few minutes. Then started all over. So I moved the slicker so he could see no one was under it..hiding. Then he kept asking about who was following us. Wow!! this was getting old. And I was getting irratated by the whole scenerio. Now, I'm over near East 14th and Broadway at about 5am I've had it with this character. He kept it up to the point he was getting worse about who was following us. So, I pulled over and said "there is someone in the trunk". the guy started screaming and jumped out the door running down the street. Imagine that hour of the morning in a semi bad neighborhood with all that money in his pocket. Well, at least I got my money upfront.
Amazing how peole using Drugs can't ever control themselves. Speaking of control, that 3$bill needs to practice his sex control. And start working on his Blog site to help those who need his expertise on Aids.

Business is S L O W !!

Wow, Haven't seen it this slow in a long time. The Cab Business as well as the Limousine Business. Have been out every day in the Cab since my flu bug left me. Should have stayed home. Of course, have those 95.00 gates to pay. Thought maybe since the rain had stopped and the sun is out, people would be taking cabs moe. Not so.....

Of course, 3$ bill hasn't called at all to take rides. Must be occuppied with another person ?? Guess, I've been kicked to the curb.

Nor have I heard from GW. I even sent her an e-mail reminding her that I had not received the invoice for work she had done. Her and the boyfriend must be occupied like 3$ bill. Ummm

All these trips up and down Market, Haight Ashbusy, Castro, Sunset...brings very little Business. Not many people hanging out in the Castro during the early morning hours. Have been circuling around in the Financial Dist. Getting a few rides here and there.

My friend in Petaluma is going to re design the blog and cab stories so thqat I can get better Ads posted. The current ads for Google are rather boring and kinda the same. Keep looking for the neew results.

Oh, my other friend who encouraged me to write a BLOG is having me go to Mt. View to pick-up a date and bring her back to SF for a function at City Hall. I'll be taking flowers and Champaign along . Of course, he will be waiting at City Hall. Wow, what a trusting person !! This will happen on March 4th.

Did have one interesting trip to Alameda last week in the early morning hours. Some one on crack. Have to run, will finish later when I return..........

Woodside trip

Well, I'm back!! Have been down with the Flu Virus since last week. Even misssed my trip to LV for my Grandson's Birthday. Don't wish this "bug" upon anyone.

Got a call one day last week from an Admin assistant in New York. Her boss (Large bank President) needed a ride from a residence in Woodside to a Hotel in SF. I told her I would Mapquest the address and to rest assured that he would be pick-up on time. was really looking forward to meeting this high profile person.

Left for Woodside in plenty of time to be there at 9pm. Of course, got there an hour before. You do realize that Woodside is where people like Jerry Rice (49ers) live. Hills, lots of treees, single lane roads winding up in the dark hills. So there I was, parked along side a dark road listening to animals of the night russle around. Probably all wondering who and what I was doing.

Anyhow, backed the car up into the driveway at 9pm. Waiting and watching people around a dner table. Of course, being as dark as it was, they could not necessarily se me watching them.
Finally at 9:30pm the Client came out. Off to SF we went. Not much of a conversationalists.

Oh well. Guess when your in positions like that, no need to chat with the common people.

Oh, two days later I had to go to the Bank Headquarters to take him back to the Airport. But prior to meeting him I was asked by another Admin person to by the Hotel and pick-up his luggage. Ah, being a Porter !! amazing what we get asked to do. Figured I would be taken care of when he siged the charged ticket...............WRONG !! Never again !!

Anyone heard from 3$bill lately? Or from GW and her Taxi driver Boyfriend?

Sushi Resturant and Russian Visitors

So many stories. Don't know where to start. I do have a real juicy story about a person I picked up in the cab last week. Drugs and all. Have to think about how I'm going to explain that trip from SF to Alameda. Will write this story in my next blog.

Well let's talk about this very very expensive Sushi Resturant. I was asked by one of my friends in the Limo Business to cover two of his accounts this past Saturday evening. So I showed up at 8:00 pm to help out Clients of the Hotel and the Sushi place. Wow, you should have seen the people coming and going out of this resturant. Really dressed to impress one another. And this place is not cheap. 2 pcs of Sushi for $9.00. I get 6pcs at the local Grocery store for 6.95. Anyone, I decided to go in to see what all this is about. Fantastic atmosphere, music and all. Really well done. Worth while just to see this place. Oh, the restrooms have speakers with Japanese language translation. interesting! Overall, this is another one of those "trendy" places where those who want to be seen go.

Back to the Hotel. Out comes two young people wanting to go to a really nice dining location. Very obvious that money was no object. They were probably in their late twenties or early thirties. She was nothing short of a knock-out. Mini skirt and all. Spoke pretty good English.
Pulled over to make a few calls to get them a reservations at one of SF top 5 star resturant. interesting how many of those resturants were totally booked for the night. I economy here in SF must doing well. Finally did get them seating at one of SF's finest. Sure would have liked to see their bill. So off I drove to that location. The charge for One stop city is 20.00. He gave me 50.00 and said keep the change. Probably because that I allowed them to smoke in the car. Anyhow, sure would like to know where their money comes from.

Took 3$bill to the Dr.'s this morning. Should have heard him rag on about this "thing" in LA.
Will talk about this tomorrow.
